I am not saying that all fat people are mean, its just that some of the meanest people i have met in my life have all been fat. Why do you think this is?

most of the mean people I've know have been skinny...not just thin but skinny...you know, overly skinny. I'm pretty sure though that its unfair for either one of us to make a generalized statement like that.

Naaa, she is right. Every morbidly obese person I've encountered are SOBs. They seem so happy and jolly but are the first to stab you in the back. They are the biggest gossips and like to see crap go on with others. I had a such friend and it was terrible. All the other ones I met were the same. Didn't like the backstabbing I saw many do to people that were super nice when no one else would be.

Could they have been mean to you because you might look at them is a condescending way. Not that you question would give Any indication of that. Grow up and experience the world a little bit more. Oh and watch what you say b/c karma has a way of biting you in the butt. You just may be one of those fat mean people you imagine.

Are you for real? What you're doing is called generalizing. Just because you've had some bad experiences with people who are overweight doesn't mean that that's how it is everywhere. I've known some really mean people in my life, and they were all shapes, sizes, ages and colors.

Some of the sweetest, kindest people I know are the little old ladies at my church, and most are quite heavy-set. And my overweight male friends tend to have a really good sense of humor, and would do just about anything to help people out. So maybe it's just something unique to your area and experience.

Wow...your insight is astounding (and just in case you're confused, I am being sarcastic) I really hope you are just young and stupid and not a full grown adult asking this question, if so you have had one sad existence. I hope for you that you realize the error in your prejudice and come to have a better understanding of all people in general, including yourself and why you feel the need to label people and categorize them.

Their tired of how society treats them and that's how they get back at people. I had a really fat enemy and we became friends when I knew why she acted the way she was. People called her such bad things that she believed she was actually what people said she was. Wherever she is today I hope she is happy in her life now. :)

because they are so self concious about themselves and dont want to bring attention to them being fat so they are mean so that people will be intimidated and so people wont call them fat.
