The unpopular kids!

I remember this girl in middle school who was considered so beautiful and popular. She was pregnant before high school started and that pretty much ruined her life. I would say I pity her but she was really mean to me so I'm not required to care.

It's always that way.

Unpopular kids put school and education and their future before popularity.

Priorities make all the difference.

Oh, and I was definitely an unpopular kid. Now I've got a 3.75 GPA around the closing of my second year in college and I'm a member of two National Honors Societies. I bet the "popular kids" from high school wish they could say the same!

It depends. I think everyone is born with a unique seed in side them. Wether it blooms or not depends on taking responsibility and excercising free will. Some popular kids at school may have gotten their popularity without effort (eg good looks) but havent developed inner discipline. Unpopular kids might be getting their inner strengh set up through having to fight - leading to a succesfull life.

The Unpopular kids.......the popular kids with get skin cancer for tanning, end up in rehab and live in a trailer park some where. Well that's how most the "popular" kids are right now....and It has only been a year after graduation.

Both. The popular kids end up raising the next generation of brats and unpopular kids go to Ivy League schools to enrich their minds.

I wasn't popular nor unpopular. Everyone referred to me as 'that girl'. They only knew my by my striking face.

Anyways, I'm mildly successful. Good job + good pay (not to mention seniority) for someone who just got out of high school.

the unpopular kids are always thinking about ways to be popular, so in the long run they are using their minds more and end up being smarte, more successful people, but sometimes the popular kids are use their social skills later in life and know how to get themselves ahead by using it.

I was a mix of both honestly. I was "good friends" with nerdy kids and "mediocre friends" with jocks and stuff.. I had popularity my nerd friends didn't have but I wasn't thee most popular kid or anything. Me, I'm doing pretty good. I wouldn't say successful, but better than most people.

I recently went to my HS reunion and I was surprised with the outcome.. I have not seen any factors which guarantee success or failure.. Certain kids, even those in and out of jail, I thought would be doomed for failure.. One of them has a yacht and owns his own business.. another.. dumb as a doornail just graduatd with a masters.. meanwhile this other girl, intelligent and pretty, now looked poor, despondent and 20 years older than she is...
