I'm White!! need tan!!?

Question

Ok so i'm white and i need a certain type of lotion that will make me tan but not ruin my skin and not burn me!! Any suggestions on what to buy or what to do? thx!! =]

I dont wanna go to a tanning booth/salon! i want comething i can do at home a tanning lotion that wont hurt my skin and i can tan with!!

Yeah, I'm a manager at a Tanning Spa, so I know what Im talking about...

My suggestion is to go to a tanning salon and talk to them. Start out slow, and get your base tan built up. I suggest going once a day for a couple of months (or until you are satisfied) and then go like once a week to maintain your tan.

As for what lotions to use, I'm not quite sure what to suggest since you havn't given any details as to how you tan, but if you usually get red/ pink I suggest this stuf called "Halo" by Designer Skin. It is a Dark Tanning Bronzer with UVB Inhibitors SPF 4. UVB rays are the ones that burn, and UVA rays are the ones that tan... so by inhibiting the UVB rays you maximize your tan! It is also an anti-aging and firming formula.

If you are looking for a quick fix... try to find a salon with a "Mystic tan"... instead of airbruching color onto you, mystic tans are colorless, and work with the natural melanin in your skin to give you a tan.

If you have to resort to basking in the sun for hours or go into a tanning booth, sure, a tan might look good now, but those things could give you skin cancer (have you knoticed that the tanning beds are shaped life coffins!?!???) so I guess that if you want to get a little tan, then use a spray on one. Just go gradually, other wise everyone will know its a fake and will never let you forget it.

I am also on the pale side, but I think one of your best bets is to try going to a tanning salon. Get a good (and probably pricey) tanning accelerator with lots of conditioning agents or even if they have one with Shea butter. Don't be afraid to ask someone at the salon what they think would be better for your skin tone. Most are trained to know the answers to these questions...if not, ask to speak to someone who does know the answer.

Hey girlfriend BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS ONE.!
Number 1 -ABSOLUTELY DONT GO TO A TANNING SALON VERY DANGEROUS.
Number 2-Why dont you just get a tan the natural way meaning lying on the beach in the summertime use alot of sunblock to prevent sunstroke though spf 25 I recommend.
Number 3-Ask a cosmetics clerk about bronzers and similiar faux tanning creams that are mild and safe.
Why are you so desperate to get a tan anyways? why not just stay pale.

Go to a tanning salon where they know what they are talking about.just go every other day and start off with say minutes and work yourself up to more minutes every 4 tans go in the power bed or the stand up but again ask them to recommend the lotion

Go tanning at a tanning salon, get a professional spray tan, or use Clinique Self Tanner, L'oreal Self Tanner works good too.

I particular as hell would, properly midsection jap for particular (or Latino). To be honest I already seem slightly midsection jap in accordance to a pair people (facial good factors), then lower back i'm section-Sicilian regardless of the shown fact that so as that easily explains it. If tanned and with a beard, i'd would desire to worry approximately getting stopped at airport protection haha. the only factor that would keep me is my green eyes, regardless of the shown fact that actual i've got met or seen a variety of of midsection Easterners with gentle eyes.

go out and buy some self tanning lotion by Neutrogena and read the instructions on the bottle, this way you dont have to go out and get sunburnt, but create a nice, even tan.

Um, just put on good sunblock and tan outside! The tanning lotions and sprays and stuff don't last as long, and you'd have to maintain it.

We'll if your white, like me, you can't help but be white. It's your skin tone. But put sunscreen on when your out in the sun so you don't get burnt. You will never be tan like the Models, but you can get some color.
