do you think that people in the 40+ age group who do not have children are more fun to be around? I don't know why but I have just noticed that they are not so uptight and love partying etc.

Oh yeah! I am in my late 20's and all of my friends who are around my age have children and they have become sooooo boring! I have a few older friends (that are pushing 40 and who are already over 40) who do not have kids and we have so much fun together!

For sure they are more fun. Children drain the life out of us for a few years. Before I wanted to party, now I just want to sit in a quiet room for like a minute. People without kids are more able to do what they want, when they want.
(I should note that I love my kids dearly..)

People with children should put them as the #1 priority in their life, above friends and partying. I'm in my 30s and its hard to maintain friendships with people who don't have children simply because they aren't understanding if I can't go out one night because my child is ill.

I have kids, and I act like a kid.. I have fun with my teens- so it can go either way ( Im not in my 40's yet!)

yeah! i dont hang out with them, cuz im 16, but i know some, and yeah its true because they have nothing to worry about. they dont have to make sure their children are fed or that they are not getting into trouble.
