I'm having a disagreement with my co-worker......?

He is white, I am black. I only hire black people for my team. There are enough white people in corporate america and black people are smerter than whites anyway. My coworker says that is racist. I tried to explain I cannot be racist by definition but like most crackers, he doesnt listen. My manager is black and told me he hired me because I was black, I feel oblagated to carry on this tradtion

is this a serious question becasue if anyone who is in the boss postition should not ask this kind of ignorant question you can actually be sued for discrimination you are racist

when you say that black people are smarter than whites, you sound racist and discriminatory, this has to be a joke, the whole world think blacks are the most underdeveloped human beings, I dont think so,, but just saying that shows a lot of ignorance,, + your boss said to u,, he hired u cause u are black...u should feel ashamed ,, he didnt even know u have skills or not,, u got a chance and u discriminate,,wow, I give a chance to anyone..u should do the same, what if the world attack ur people again.. what if you get fired and noone wants to hire you,,or white people hire u just because they have to , otherwise u sue the company cause they are racist...black people always get away of many things bringing the word"racism"..you have to show the world you are good, you didnt have to..I have to kick my *** everyday at work, cause there is a lot of lazy white & black people in my company, bragging they ge more money than I do, working less, guess what I get more work thanks through my skills and the boss knows that..and I will get what I want, my experience and professionalism didnt give me that salary cause Im not white, and I'm far better than 2 black guys who get $10 more per hour than me,thanks that they are lazy and I did far better than them, I will get my promotion, but I cant generalize cause there is 2 white guys who work as hard as me, and they are american citizens..and a couple of hard working black people,, so you shouldnt see color, you should consider performance, reliability, dedication..

So whats your question? You should give your self more dignity than this. I really don't know where to begin.... your comment was absolutely ignorant and I'm not even white!! I think you are entitled to your own opinion and your right to do what you want. But I think you should open your mind a little bit and see people as individual and not just some stupid color. All people are different, and some white people are actually nice and descent people to get to know. But of course some are rude... and think they are better than everyone else..... But in this case you are acting just like that!!! so that makes you no better. learn to love people... and you'll get the same in return. If you act negative to people don't expect them to kiss your a**. SO THE REALITY HERE IS THAT YOU ARE TRYING TO MAKE A STATEMENT.... but are truly making your nationality look pathetic. But I am smart enough not judge all black people based on YOUR actions.

I especially like the part where you say "black people are smerter than whites". Could be, I'd suppose. I don't know what "smerter" means.

Wouldn't it be better to try to select the best qualified team members, no matter what their skin tone is?

It is racist. What if the best qualified person for the job is Hispanic, Asian, or Caucasian? Are you going to hire someone based solely on race? If you do that, you are just as bad as the "crackers".

Racist, no. Discriminatory, yes.

Hire people for their qualifications. Do phone interviews. This attitude/perspective is the same one that got us into this silly position in the first place. Having been hired because I wasn't white (token minority), I was insulted. Don't insult your fellow blacks. Just hire people regardless of color.

Tradition, my ***! Whether you like to admit it or not, both you and your manager ARE racists and bigots. People should be hired on their ABILITY, not on their sex or skin colour.
