Well, I live on a beautiful half acre in Boise, surrounded by trees and wild rabbits and all sorts of wonder, not far from the river or the bike path that stretches the lenght of the city. But my landlord just died, and his son plans on selling it to developers who will level our little cottage home and pave the thing and build a bunch of duplexes on it. So my first purchase would be the land I live on, both because I want to own a home, and because such a beautiful place needs to be preserved.

I don't ask for much I have always said the first thing I would get if I won the lottery was:

A ELECTRIC GATE for the end of my very long drive, I hate getting in and out and in and out just to open and close the gate. (which stays closed so the dogs don't get out).
Thats what I'd get!

A big voodoo doll, life sized, made to look like my boss, and with a big note that says "You" on it. My second purchase would be to pay someone to give it to him.
