Low supply, my behind! The same thing happened last year. By July, we'll probably be at an average of $4 a gallon! This is driving me nutts. I wish our government had more control over this matter, they should. And by the way, I love the U.S. and I'm not some anti-American. I'm just getting really annoyed and broke by this like many others!

Yes, I too heard we'll be paying $4.00 by summer. I guess that means I'll be spending more time at home doing a little more yardwork this summer. This can't be good for the economy.

Yes, gas prices are going up for the summer and will not come down to the current prices after sumer is over.
Yes, the oil companies are making as much as they can for as long as they can.
How can they get awy with it? We, you and I, are the ones who "need" this gasoline to get to work, the beach, the store, and every other place we drive our vehicles to.
Does the U.S. government have the slightest control over the oil companies? Not directly and that is as it should be. owever, the indirect control is there in te form of import and export regulations, drilling restrictions, and tax incentives (or punishments).
Will the government do anything? Not while Bush and Cheney are in office.

I wish it would be slowly! Gas went up ten cents in one hour here today! And I'm hearing predictions of $4.00 this summer. I guess the only place I'll be going is to work! A vacation has become a fantasy.

No, I think demand is still high because of the extreme temps everywhere. It is still snowing in the north. I was hoping to get some kind of spring this year.
So, if spring is skipped, and we go directly to summer temps, I can see prices being high because there was no break on energy consumption.
Not good, not good at all.

hell no your not anti american, your anti rich azzhats getting richer while claiming they have to. the other day, this station i normally go to went up 7 cents in 3 days! its going up cause holiday travel gonna happen!
