I actually have a friend from Australia that I chat with through podcast. If you ask an american about Australia; I usually here,' Ya I want to visit there someday." We like Australia. The people of Australia in some ways can be related to us because England populated it way back and a lot of americans and Canadians have English roots.

I have had the great fortune of visiting Australia 5 times. My wife is from Adelaide. I really love it down there and plan on moving there once I retire. The people are so layed back and friendly and it has some of the most beautiful scenery of anyplace I've ever visited. Ever been for a drive on the Great Ocean Road?

I think Australia is cool, as a matter of fact, Australia and Canada are the only countries I'd be interested in visiting.

I would LOVE to visit!!
About the only things I know about Australia are from what I see on either Discovery Channel, National Geographic or Animal Planet(I LOVED Steve Irwin:`(.........)
And I like your accents!
It's about a 22 hr. flight from where I live, but we're planning to visit, soon.
It seems like a great country, with a very cordial population.
I am an American.

As a Canadian I think, most people think Australians are pretty cool. I know when I lived near Whistler Mountain, Australians were well respected for their skiing and "adventurous side".
I have met and known many many Australians over the years
and they are overall great fun. I do find however, alot of the men, well to be blunt, are a**holes, especially in relationships with their "women"(possessive, mean etc.). But overall there is little "bad" talk about Australians----leastwise in BC, Canada

I am from America which I have always considered us the greatest country on the planet. I am very respectful of the attitude Australia has given the rest of the world. If you live here, you play by our rules. PERIOD. I wish/hope we will get around to that way of thinking. My dad and I have talked about moving to your country because of the way things are going here. Hope yall keep the faith and never change.

the mistakes will be made time after time after time - until eventually you come for the time of Aussies who comprehend the huge difference between Canada and usa. Aussies will imagine you're an American. we come across the accents very similar. same to our accent and the Kiwi accent - that you locate similar and we come across so amazingly diverse. we do not hate individuals - or Canadians. it is going to likely be difficult that you ought to locate an Aussie who does compared to someone because they're American or Canadian - possibly for yet an additional reason, yet no longer because of their race. Australians love Canada and locate it very comparable to Australia. I travelled fairly through Canada, and loved it. i found Canadians very pleasant, likeable human beings. i imagine the maple leaf tattoo is an fairly good theory - yet no longer so Aussies will comprehend you're Canadian - do it because of your pride. we are a really undemanding bunch to get alongside with - very like yourselves. i'm hoping you extremely relish Australia.
