I mean CHEAP. Very tight budget. We can arrange them ourselves... my sister is GREAT at arranging flowers. Any ideas appreciated.

There are many wholesale places on the web that sell flowers to the average consumer without a vendors liscence. Here are a few websites that I have found that are able to give you low prices.

I checked out the prices and they are within a few cents of what a retail florist would pay if they bought them from their wholesaler.
I have a floral design degree from Ohio State University and have owned my own flower shop.

call a florist and ask for ideas. There are some purple flowers that are very inexpensive but I can't remember their name. They would help.

see if you have a flower market in town... the place where the florists buy wholesale... usually anyone can buy there...
