Americans are better drivers than Canadians? why or why not?
I am a canadian, and I would have to agree... sorry
Americans are more polite on road... I think

Agree because America is more warmer then Canada and i hate old weather.

That really depends on which Americans you're comparing to which Canadians.
For instance, if you're comparing Miami drivers, Canadians win hands down. But if you're comparing Atlanta drivers, I would go with the Americans.
Overall, though, I would say Canadians. But I haven't been to many of the large metropolian areas in Canada lately, so I'm comparing country drivers to city drivers, which is really isn't very fair.

I'd have to vote for Canadians as better drivers on faith alone. I've seen way too many bad American drivers...really, really bad. Never actually met a Canadian driver though. :/ My vote is still with them.

I personally think Canadians are better drivers on the road but they dont know how to park..lol I live right on the canadian border in a small town in Maine. and everytime I go to Walmart theres always a bunch of canadians there and MOST of them double park arghhh.........

I would have to disagree!! I am Canadian too, but in my experience Americans are very uncautious drivers and very quick to cut off. Not that Canadians don't do these things, it's just that I have had it happen to me by more Americans!

Haven't been north of the border since I've been able to drive, but I'm sure my father would have left some memorable cursing in my recollection if Canadian drivers were half as bad as you claim they are.

You've got this state to state thing going on. When I was in Seattle I didn't think the driver's were so bad. In Utah they are courteus, but everyone is going 85-90. In CA they will slit your throat. :) It's kind of hard to give an opinion on the whole country.
