Medical marijuana use has been legal in New Mexico for about 10 days. The legislature passed a medical marijuana act and Gov. Richardson signed it. Possession of less than on ounce is not legal, but is so minor it's treated like a speeding ticket--with the same penalties. I'm interested to hear from the other states, but I'm curious about the situation in California. Is it legal in some places--like Humbold (spelling?) County--or just not enforced?

Actually, the federal ban on it has never been lifted, so it's not even truely legal in Cali for any reason. Although it's unlikey, if they fed's really wanted to, they could put a stop to it.

Amsterdam is the one that comes to mind here.

Holland. Everyone talks about Amsterdam, but honestly Rotterdam is much better. Both are in Holland.

long tale short, human beings could take duty for what they put in their physique (be it drugs, foodstuff, liqueur, or the rest). the government could understand the conflict on drugs is futile, and that they could exchange drug regulation regulations (for a brilliant form of motives, yet specially to decrease out the cartels and decrease drug appropriate crime). My well-known stance is that each physique drugs could be legalized, regulated, and taxed like another issues people eat.
