Actually, you need to go to work and work, not play around on the computer. You have no access from work for a reason. You are there to work.

If you are at work you should not be getting on myspace or ebay or any other website. They pay you to work not go out on the web for personal use. Why would you expect them to let you use a work computer for personal use and on company time yet too?

Hopefully you are aware that going through a proxy server to such sites from work is not only cause to fire an employee, but can also be used to sue or bring criminal charges against any employee for opening their network to possible virus infection, data theft, hackers, etc.
The company's system administrator monitors for just such traffic and can see within a matter of seconds that you using such a site. They can record that activity, and every piece of information send over the network to myspace, e-bay, all your e-mails (send and received) etc. Such activity will be used to terminate your employment at best, and imprison you at worst.
Working in computer IT, I see this on a daily basis.
Take my advice and DO NOT use proxy sites to get around your companies firewall. It will get you fired.

Go to logmein.com, and you can access your computer at home remotely from ANYWHERE that has an internet connection! It's dope, and way better than proxy servers. It's like you're sitting at home browsing the net with no worries, and its free.

Better that they stop you from doing it than you get told off because they've been looking at your internet history!
