That is a lot of questions just for a Review..... Sounds like you want answers to homework, not a review. Where is your book?

Even if I looked this up on the internet for you, there would be a wide range of answers and it would take forever...........

I really think you should do your homework reading first, instead of just putting all the questions on the internet....
But OK, I'll help you with one question:

What did Germany achieve by controlling Norway and Denmark?
Denmark: Control the traffic of ships between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea.
Norway: The country has a border to Russia (ex Soviet Union) and has a long coast line with ice free harbors all winter. Therefore German war ships, submarines and planes could attack allied shipments between the US and Soviet Union in the North Atlantic ocean.
Look at a map, and you'll see why Denmark and Norway were so strategically important to the Nazi Germany.

*Cause germany violated the Treay of Versailles by its actions.
*One factor was that the Blitzkrieg didn't work inside the city--tanks were ineffective cause they could not assault en masse. The second factor was that Hitler wanted it for its symbolic purpose: "Stalin"grad. The Soviet Army as well as its citizens fought back to prevent the Nazis from taking the city--i.e. the Nazis fought everyone building by building, room by room.
*Was it the Emperor, Hirohito, still or not? Sorry I forget.
*Poland.
*He provided great funding and support to Von Braun and his rocket research. V2s rained down on varius parts of Britain throughout the War. V2s along with the "Blitz" and Battle of Britain.
*Midway Island --located about midway between hawaiian island and asian mainland...not a very thought about name huh?
*No idea.
*US Congress, like most US citizens felt separationism was the thing to stick to. All that stuff was happening on the other side of the world. It wasn't their problem.
That's all the ques i can see in this answer page.
reread main ques page. About the Maginot Line: to this day no invading army or military force has ever broken through the Maginot Line's defenses. The Nazis just decided to go around it instead of through it -- much simpler. Sort of like fencing in your backyard, but only fencing in three sides. Doesn't really work, does it? No need to take down the fence, just walk around it.
