You are locked up in an underground bunker. You begin to hear soldiers in the distance. You are carrying your baby daughter who will not stop crying. You try putting your hand over her mouth only to find that you are choking her. You know that if your daughter wont stop crying they will find all of you and kill you all. What do you do?

The Greater Good dictates that you must kill your own daughter.
If you cut and run, the troops will see where you came from, and find your family anyway.
In this situation, the choice is that your daughter die alone, or die along with the rest of you.
Not easy, but real life. Make it quick and painless. (And quiet.) If you can take her away from the rest of the family so they don't react, all the better.
Real life is beeotch.

If there were no other alternatives, the best decision would be to kill my daughter, but I wouldn't be able to do it.
If I felt the soldiers were far enough away that I could leave the bunker without being spotted, I would leave the underground bunker with my daughter and run in an attempt to save the other people, knowing that me and my daughter would probably die.
If I felt the soldiers were too close, I would probably try other things to try to stop her from crying, or muffle her from crying, but I don't think I'd be able to kill my daughter even if I knew that we would all die if I didn't kill her.

Not kill her, in the middle of a war zone I think it pretty hard for soldiers to hear a crying baby in a bunker with guns and bombs going off, and of course all heavy machinery moving around. But in every moment of silence (if any), i would cover her mouth.

If I were in the position that you stated, I have lived long enough to enjoy what it means to have lived. I would give the daughter the chance she deserves.
You should never do anything rash. If there is time to think, take it.
