Good friday, you can try to cook at home. Try to explore your skills, maybe you are very good in cooking and explore it. And then share the food you cook with your family & relatives. If you are observing on not eating pork and other meats during lent season, then just cook seafoods.
Try to spend time with family & reflect the reason of this season. Definitely this time is not just enjoying your vacation from work but reflecting why Christ died for us. I think this is a good way in celebrating this occasion.
I don't believe in "Black Saturday" (that God is dead that day, as that's what my grandma used to say), so I have no other suggestion to you but to rest and maybe listen to some refreshing music.

my expensive brothers and sisters, if the church decrees that we abstain from yapping for 3 days, what's the great deal and why can no longer yappers do it as an act of penance? i will't see why! is 3 days deprivation sufficient to be feeling so wretched and stricken as though the international had collapsed on us? can no longer we make this preferrred sacrifice? LOL!!!

"Stuck with nothing to do" must mean that you are not a religious man. Right? In that case, be with friends, watch tv, go to a mall, or maybe go to Manilla Bay.

mate!!! there are so many things to do in manila.take your camera and start shooting photos of what's happenings around you.for example the pabasa,guys who are carrying crosses people doing pinetensiya.
