Hi. 1) 62 times .375. 2) Find the seconds (6 times 60 plus 58.5) divided by 62. 3) Plug answer 1 into the formula for a cylinder. 4) The pancakes get compressed, some go into the throat. It's called gurgitation!

1. 62*3/8 = 186/8 = 93/4 = 23 1/4 inches
2. 58.5 seconds = 58.5/60 minutes = 0.975 minutes
62 pancakes in 6.975 minutes = 62/6.975 = 8.9 pancakes per minute.

6 minutes = 306 seconds
62 pancakes in 364.5 seconds = 0.17 pancake per second.

3. Volume = pi*3^2 * 23.25 = 657.4 cubic inches
4. Pancakes are not solid so they can be packed and wadded into a smaller volume.
