I don't believe that happiness could be achieved by everyone because happiness comes with some sort of satisfaction, and some people are never satisfied. As soon as they realise that they have achieved one milestone, they set out on the other before actually acknowledging the first. so denying themselves the happiness of acomplishment. they "will always be happy when........." and when they reach there, this point changes.

Theoretically Yes, happiness can be achieved by all.
IMO we will all get the answer to that question in the `real`world within the next five years.
In order to achieve or acquire or attract ANYTHING, good or bad, (subjective) one only needs to focus on its existence.
If you have it, celebrate as this will attract more of it. If you don`t have it or not enough of it, fake it! Spend a little time on this creation process, is that asking too much? Some people who don`t have it might think you are a little loco, but who cares! What prevents it? Focusing on not having happiness or not having enough of it, which means focusing on disatisfaction, misery, sadness, anger, envy, or whatever negative emotion, thought, feeling or sensation will attract those experiences to your reality. Got it? Great! Party on!

Happiness can be achieved by all, through internal mechanisms, and is also affected by the outside world. I think that most people would not use happiness as a goal, but rather well being. The latter is the instinct that we have all learned from the beginning. Happiness is a state of mental wellness. i think given the right circumstances, everyone is capable of happiness.

I think happiness can be achieved. But we stand in the way of our own happiness. If I knew exactly how to achieve happiness, I'd be a happy person by now. I think we just have to stop and let go to listen to our hearts and not over think stuff. It's easier said than done.

Hi Said,
Happiness is inside of "everyone"... It is your job or choice to CULTIVATE and create it, and then experience it, however you can... It is not a cloud that descends on you... It doesn't come from any other person or thing...
>>>>>
You create the feelings called : happy and happiness, and you alone... Just as you can create feelings of boredom, unhappiness, sadness and other things... Your mind controls your feelings and emotions and moods, not the other way around....
>>>>>
Look inside yourself at what truly are your life values and needs.... If you stay true to your core beliefs, values and needs, you will feel happy... When you step out of those, you will feel other things, that are not feelings of contentment or happiness....
>>>>>>>
It takes discipline, introspection and time to do this... But it is worth it in the end, and it is the only way to find any kind of true (versus illusory or temporary) .. happy feelings or
"happiness." ... :)
>>>>>
Bottom line : If you try to go hunting for it, you'll just make more suffering, as you continually spin around in circles clinging at one idea after another.... That strategy never works....
So, it is really up to all of us, to achieve it.... :)
>>>>>>>
Thanks, for the question! :)
My regards!
Take care!

What prevents happiness is not being true to yourself, listening to others and only doping what they say, Physical and emotional abuse, and thinking of the disasters of the past and expecting g them to repeat in the future.

indeed, happiness can be achieved by all. life is just a matter of perspective and choice. if you choose to be happy in spite of the negative things per se that are happening in your life then that would be great. as they say, people are lonely because they build walls instead of bridges. life is not perfect, there will definitely be downfalls that will take place but it is for our own good. god has promised in Romans 8:28 that all things work together for good for those who love him and who have been called according to their purpose. in addition, god had planned the best life for us. supporting that claim is Jeremiah 29:11. just think of this, do not be annoyed because roses have thorns, instead be thankful because thorns have roses. right? =) god bless! =)

No, because what makes some people happy, is making other people unhappy. If they aren't allowed to be loud, rude, obnoxious, or in the worst case, violent, then that person will never be happy. It's an odd conundrum, until you realize that people pretty much are rotten.
And you people who want to tell me 'not me!', you're probably the worst offenders.

They say you have free will, but then your own capacity to shelter a strong free will is determined by a long chain of causes that stretches back to Adam and eve/to Lucy. So yes, everyone can, but can they really?
