I'm supposed to write something about Kurt Vonnegut. Was SHF very funny? True or false: The overall theme is that death is not bad because the people are still alive in the past sort of, right?

I didn't really find it funny, but I think it's supposed to be.

That's sort of the idea, but not really. I think the book is more of an insane man's account of how he became insane. I'd call the theme the devastation of war and its effects on the human mind.

Read it years ago, don't remember it being funny. Kurt write satire. you might want to try "Breakfast of Champions".
