I'm currlently doing an essay about Ferrets. Can anyone tell me inrasting facts about them. And also how do i start my first paragraph? Something that will get my teacher excaited when beginng reading.

I have "been owned" by ferrets for almost six years now. They all have very unique personalities, and never seem to run out of curiosity. They have been domesticated for about 2,000 years, and are still used for hunting rabbits in Europe (but it is illegal to do so in the US). As far as taking them for walks, I never do that since they have plenty of room to run around in my house (and every other house on my street has at least one dog). The sound that they make when they are happy is usually called a "dook". It is very amusing to watch them burrow into my clothes and then start jumping all over each other. I will include two of the many websites dedicated to ferrets, and I'm sure you can find everything you could ever want to know about them.

Ferrets are not the easiest pet in the world to have, they need to be taken out on walks; a lot. They're very social, very playful. They're very intelligent, you can even litter train them. Several ferrets can get along quite nicely if they grew up together and know they are of the same pack. That's all I've got for now; hope this helps.
