"If atheists are right Christians and atheists both lose nothing, but if Christians are right, then atheists lose everything while Christians gain"....

I have seen this at least 50 times.

But my little Jesus-Gerbils, what if the Muslims are right, HUH?
Then YOU lose while THEY gain. Can't have that! Better buy a Quran.

Is your point that you are muslim and your religion is right. I guess each of us will find out who is right when it is time to meet our maker.

Leviticus 18:22 'Do not have sex with a man as you would with a woman. It is an abomination. Why would a God of love say such a thing? Did you read the answers to Peach's question? Like it or not, they were smug and hateful. Whether anyone cares to admit it or not, Christianity plays a big part in our laws. It's Christian groups that organize protests against gay marriage and abortion clinics, raise a fuss over stem-cell research, etc. EDIT: Just let gays get married. It's so little to ask for, but it means so much.

I am a Christian!!!!
I am an independent thinker!!!
I am an (Ugly) American and as such I fully respect the atheists right to their own religion just as I do the Muslim, Buddhist...or anyone Else's..( By the way God bless the Dahli Llama..Absolutely lovely man.)

And I might ad that I admire the religious fervor in which the atheists pursue their religion....Some of the Christian sects could do with such passion.. Plus I enjoy the stimuli of two people with opposing viewpoints ...And the argument as a whole!! I always learn so much....

But just remember that when you walk into heaven and you see all of us sitting around a long table (Us being ALL of the religious.).......And every time you say something everyone Covers their ears and says"
"Naaa Naaa Naaa I cant hear you"
(Insert picture of Eric Cartman here.)

I told ya so...

(Come on that's funny right there I don't care you are...)

Thumbs down button is the one on the right...Just a little FYI..

What are you talking about? Why do atheists lose everything if the Christians are correct? Even in the Bible it states that only God knows the condition of a soul and wether it should be admitted to the kingdom of Heaven. What if the Muslims are right? Allah is the same as Yawe. They are both the God of Abraham. In fact, the Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet of God; although, they don't believe he was the son of God.

In the final analysis, we are all frail human beings who really know a lot less than we think we do.

There will when my time here is over and I go to meet my Maker (assuming there is one),I hope that He/She/It/They will forgive me for my weaknesses. Maybe I spelled the name wrong. Maybe I should have knelt five times a day in a certain direction instead of praying the way I do. Maybe my symbol should have been a star or a crescent instead of a cross.

I would like to believe that something as almighty as the Almighty would see past those trivialites and recognize that I have tried to live my life in a good and just way. Like a father looking down upon a young son, I hope that He/She/It/They would recognize that my attempts may have been laughable, but I was loved for making the attempt.

We are sorry mental wizard. We thought the right religion would provide gain and riches beyond compare. But there are so many religions, which one shall I pick. It is just like the lottery.

Now, the problem Christians have a belief in a supreme God, and athiests do not. It is not the religion that gets one into heaven. So you have missed the whole concept. It is the individual and his relationship with God that will save his soul, not his religion. It does not matter your religion or your color or language but your keeper of your soul. A religion, even the muslims, cannot save your soul. Truly, the only ones that will gain will be the ones that have invested in God to keep their sould safe and it does not matter who they identify with they will be winners. Not all baptists will go to heaven, but some will, not all catholics will go to heaven , but some will. The word tells us that there will be two men in the field when Jesus comes and one will be left and one will be taken. Reading the word will give you keen insight as to the riddles and crossroad puzzles that occupy your mind. It is already decided, the question is where is your soul going to be when Jesus returns? Winner or loser?

Many athiests ask "How can there be a true God if there are so many religions that worship in so many different ways?" And I believe that the answer is simple. It is human fraility that makes us imperfect, so we see God through the eyes of our own imperfection.
The best quote I have ever seen on this follows "God is like a pure light burning in a multi-coloured, patterned glass shade and depending on where you stand, you see a different patterns, different colours, but the light inside remains constant"
I'm Roman Catholic and don't believe that every other religion is condemned to hell. The search for truth, for faith, exists in many beliefs, in many people, and the differences doesn't prove the non-existance of a higher being.

OK, my little Muslim mouse, but why does it have to be Muslims versus Christians, or Muslims versus anyone for that matter? Is it hot possible for Muslims and Christians to occupy the same earth as well as the same higher Spiritual Plane together peacefully? I don't see that anyone has lose, or why we can't all gain.

Or the Buddhists, or the Jainists, or the Santerians, or the Voodooists, or the Holy Dingbats of Hamburger. It's a circular argument that goes exactly nowhere. Told ya.

I applaud you for the question. Maybe it'll plant that little seed of doubt that later can blossom into the dawn of reality.

Bill, if the Muslims are right, atheists are STILL screwed. Theism is a better bet than atheism, whether theism comes in the variety of Christianity or Islam. And you thought you had a defeater on your hands! LOL

I have a better question for the bible thumpers.....

If Adam and Eve had only sons, Kane and Abel, where did the rest of the people come from?

And -
Those fundamentalists who take the bible word for word - how many slaves do you have?
How many criminals have you killed. How many wives do you have.....
And-
For Christians, why do you always portray Jesus with white skin, blue eyes and light hair? His mother was an Ethiopian.....
And-
If you are truly following Christ, why haven't you given away all your worldly goods to follow him and his ways...He asked that of Simon Peter and of all of you.

bunkum......hypocrisy
