If leaders in the Middle East start turning to diplomacy it will be because they fear being deposed like Saddam. Just like Gaddafi giving up his nuclear weapons program. With these people only War will bring Peace.

Jeez! where do i start with maravilla's answer. You are completely misguided. Our economy is the strongest in the world and has solid steady growth. The fact that RCA has lost market share to Sony, our luxury cars to BMW and Farrari, Ford to Toyota (more Toyota's are made in the US then Ford anyway), means nothing. The only threat the Chinese economy has on the US is if it colapes. We want /need them and other countries to do well. You obviously know nothing about economics, or how the gobal economy works. The last time I checked - diplomacy has failed every time it's been tried when dealing with an ideology of hatred and dominance.
But, hey, that's no indication that we can't reason with these guys - just ask Carter or Chamberlain what their success rate was.
