I'm guessing you're talking about lines in the skin outside of the lipline. When your body approaches menopause, the face begins to lose muscle tone and muscle as well. This is the true cause of most lines and wrinkles. Creams are of limited help and even facelifts will fail as muscles continue to sag more. For a more permanent solution, you need facial exercise. Yes, it's an extra effort, but it's the only thing that really works.
There's a book that's been around since the early 1960s that's listed below. If you've ever wondered how some older movie stars stayed young looking without surgery (think Merle Oberon), this is their secret. It was written by a woman who found herself aging prematurely after the privations of WWII. Her exercises bring very fast results, but you must perform them carefully and consistently to maintain your improved appearance.
Fortunately the solution for your particular problem is rather simple, but you need to read the book to understand where the muscle groups are and how to apply proper tension. Once you start reading and looking at the photos, you will see other areas in your face and neck that can be improved as well.
Her exercise method will definitely keep you young looking. I found my copy online years ago. If you do a simple search online using the web address below, you can still purchase this book. I paid about $30 for my copy, but saved hundreds on creams and solutions that wouldn't have worked anyway. The pricetag may seem a bit high, but consider how quickly the prices of those jars on the drugstore shelves are skyrocketing.
This is not an advertisement, honest. I'm just trying make life a little easier for you and maybe a few other ladies who read this.

I am a beauty advisor and Avon independent sales rep and I love to recommend one of our new products by Anew. It is called Plump and Smooth lip system. It is a two part treatment that smoothes lines around the lip area and redefines lip contours. It also makes lips look fuller and plumper. Right now we have it on sale for $15. Avon has a product satisfaction guarantee so if you didnt like it you could return it for a full refund. Check out my website for more information on the product www.youravon.com/ldorty. Let me know what you think.

there are products out there that claim to fill in the outer lines around the lips..best one is by Trish McEvoy..it can be costly but works well..also take some of your concealer put some on your finger and dab around the outer lip..don't rub..you'll rub it in..by putting the concealer around the outside of the lip it works like a filler and then you can line and apply lipstick..use gloss only on the bottom lip for a little shine..too much gloss will cause your color to bleed into the lines.
good luck..mcb

Go to a department store. My mum is 43 and she uses all different kinds of lotions and potions from department store make up counters...Elizabeth Arden, Clinique, Chanel, Dior, they all make stuff that eliminate wrinkles and lines. She looks beautiful and barely has any wrinkles!
Do you smoke? The constant puckering of your lips around the cigarette can cause little lines around your mouth, as well as yellow teeth, as well as wrinkles and sorry looking skin, as well as cancer. Lol. Just wondering because it could be a cause.

If you use an eye cream that helps with wrinkles and fine lines you can also use it around your lips to help eliminate the fine lines. There are alot of skincare lines that have creams to help with that issue. My favorite to use is Caudalie Anti-Aging Serum Eyes and Lips. You can see it on Sephora.com

estee lauder makes a perfectionist lip pen. it's a treatment and line filler in one, which means that it'll help disguise those fine lines and diminish them over time with consitant use. it runs about 38USD. i know people that have used it and noticed a difference.
