I am specifically referring to round trip trades which are part of the definition of a pattern day trader. If a person buys 2000 shares of stock B on a particular day and sells only 5 shares of stock B that same day is it considered a round trip? Could you cite a reference for where you found the definition.

An action that attempts to inflate transaction volumes through the continuous and frequent purchase and sale of a particular security, commodity or asset. Round-trip trading can be used to refer to the practice of a business selling an unused asset to another company while agreeing to buy back the same asset for about the same price (which has been seen in the energy and telecom business).

Depending on terrain, your physical condition, and your bike, you should be able to do it in considerably less than 3 hours at some point. I had a 37 mile round trip and managed to average consistently about an hour each way on a mountain bike. Bear in mind I was training for Ironman at the time, so I was also running at lunch and stopping for a swim on some days. That's a lot of miles, up in elite/pro territory if you try to do it 5 days a week. Even when you're in killer shape, you'll find that your legs are pretty much dead after a few days in a row. Still, even if you only do it 2-3 times a week that's substantial miles, substantial gas savings, and substantial time savings since you're working out using otherwise wasted windshield time. Its certainly worth investigating to see if you can find a safe, rideable route.

Penny stocks are loosely categorized companies with share prices of below $5 and with market caps of under $200 million. They are sometimes referred to as "the slot machines of the equity market" because of the money involved. There may be a good place for penny stocks in the portfolio of an experienced, advanced investor, however, if you follow this guide you will learn the most efficient strategies https://tr.im/4ed13

what you are describing would be considered a day trade and would be considered in determining if you are a pattern day trader. the only way it would not be a day trade is if you already owned more than 5 shares of stock B prior to today's trade. kinda like, first bought, first sold in that case.

You can make good money like me with this binary option signal software ( http://forexsignal.kyma.info ) Binary options trading has always been popular, however, this investment fad globally exploded around 2008. Originally known as digital options, binary or the name "two values" was added to give a simpler explanation for trading options. Binary is defined as two values or up and down movements. Binaries rely on underlying assets or derivatives. You can trade in commodities, the forex (foreign exchange market), commodities as well as stock indices.

I think what you are calling a "round trip" is more commonly called a "day trade" in most places.

If I am corect in that belief, Interactive Brokers has a pretty good write up on the subject at

which directly answers your question about selling part of a position on the same day. (It is a day trade.)
