usually it is printed on your mb near an edge. sometimes you have to take it apart to read it, and some smaller companies didn't put it on their older mb's. Some mb's show what they are when you first turn your pc on. Some mb's have make & model info in the BIOS (usually you press delete, escape, or F1 before your computer fully boots to get to the BIOS) There should be a line of text that tells you what to push to get to your BIOS. When you are in your BIOS, don't make any changes that you don't know what they do. If you do change something that you wish you hadn't, when you exit the BIOS, it will ask you if you want to save the changes: select no. If you already saved the changes and exited, you can turn the computer off, un plug it, take out the battery (looks like a big watch battery), count ten seconds, put it back in, and your BIOS will be back to it's factory default settings. These are ways to find it if, of course, you can't get online to a hardware check site, or the hardware check site only lists your chip type and CPU speed but not the actual model #
