It's very rare that I lie to anyone - especially children. I remember so many myths I was told and believed. It's embarrassing when you get older and still believe the stuff because it was told to you by someone you trusted. My boyfriend still believes that one snake for each grain of rice he's wasted will be waiting for him at his death. His mother told him this.

unfortunately, yes. My current job is working with children, and sometimes i do have to lie to them.

No. I don't because if I lie then my daughter will think that it is OK to lie and lying is not OK.

not lie, but leave out details. not anymore though. he is old enough to understand things a bit better now.

Sort of ,for instance a friend of mines daughters dog,died and I told her it was in doggy heaven,so that was a good lie.
