Most "rich" people are not rich, the bank owns everything they possess. Yet many "poor" people flat out own what they possess. So who is rich? The man with a BMW that the bank owns 90% of, or the man who own 100% of his old pickup truck? With this in mind, just read their personality. A very hard worker with good ethics is more likely to really be rich and work to hold onto it vs. someone who owes the bank everything they own and don't have the same respect for their property (think of the teenager who worked his tail of for a nice car vs. the one who was given one, who drives better?).

This is tough because I use to think it was appearance, but I met 2 millionaires and both were dressed like country hicks. They had been farmers and there land was purchased to create a town they were very very rich. Shoes don't make the man either same reason. I think how he handles himself, manners, and how they speak plays into things.
Education can be important, but I know a fellow who is billionaire and only has a high school education. There are a lot of great pretenders out there who drive a BMW and live in a tent.

I guess it depends on your definition of "rich" and "poor". If we are speaking of money - then I would say you would not be able to spot a truly wealthy man from a poor man. The wealthy man has nothing to prove and the poor man has nothing to lose. It is the ones in the middle that are having the problems!

A rich man is secure and confident. A poor man will be lacking in spirit and seem lost and alone. No one should feel poor in this world. We all have the love of God with all of his richness in glory of heaven. All we have to do is ask. God bless****

I heard this on Dave Ramsey, I think someone e-mailed it to him. Anyway, I don't remember it all, but this is part of it:

"Rich people have big libraries, poor people have big TVs. Rich people sign their checks on the front, poor people sign them on the back..."

I don't know the rest. Anyway, if you haven't read the book below, you should. It is the consummate study of American millionaires.

It totally depends on what kind of wealth you are measuring. Is it financial, spiritual, happiness, contentment? I don't have much money but I consider myself rich in love and believe it or not I am not in need of anything. I am so satisfied.
