Not at all. When I would work outside in my garden during the summer, I would get very brown and sometimes paint my fingernails black for a bit of contrast every now and then.

No, my sis and I wear black fingernail polish, and we are NOT goth! Just make sure your fingernails are short cause it looks a little wierd if they're long!

They used to be, but they're starting to become a trend. Personally, I think they add a little bit of a punk/goth look, which isn't bad. But I've even seen some very preppy girls pull it off. For a more tasteful look though, try to make sure it isn't all chipped away - which can start too seem more punk/goth.

Oh no no no. Chanel came out with one that ALL the celbes were wearing( now its more of a red but its still hot) the black fingernail polish is very nice touch to certian outfits, you just have to apply it correctly and with the right outfits.

not necessarily, black fingernails were often seen even on hi fashion runways some time ago. I also find that black finger nails serve as a good background to add nail decals or a layer of glitter polish on top. try it.

Unless you really show the other effects like black lips, lots of eyeliner, black hair (dyed). a lot of people are wearing black nail polish because its really cute and vintage. however, i think it would look better on people with fair skin. Not to be racist or anything, just a personal opinion!
