Great question. This is why I'm not religious. First of all, I'm pro-choice, just to get that out of the way. I have no idea why some people think killing zygotes is worse than kill thousands of people, not just men, displacing even more, and destroying countries. Ask a local preacher or something. I would pay to see the look on his face.

It's not really Christianity that's against Abortion or for war, it's Christian individuals. I'm a christian, and though I don'treally like abortion, I don't think it should be outlawed because why should any woman be forced to bare a child that she doesn't want or can't care for. That's why the projects, ghettos, and hoods still exist. I'm also not a big advocate for war, especially this one. I do believe that some war is neccesary, but should be used only as a last resort. So please, don't lump us all together. It's like the old saying, "there's a rotten apple in every barrel that spoils the whole bunch".

This is because Christianity is full of hypocrisy, or at least the version of Christianity that we know of today. It is mostly used to keep week minded people in line, so you can control them and have their vote come election day.
Most people feel safer in a large group of idiots than a small group of intelligent people who refuse to follow in line behind everyone else. Fear is used to control people and has been for thousands of years, people in power who call them selves Christian have perfected this tactic.
However these foolish people do not speak towards the true message of Christianity which is love your neighbor as you would love your self, love God as he loves you. This is a good message, its to bad humans have to mess it up. Maybe its worse that humans are to stupid to see how easily they are controlled.

This is one way to look at it. War is okay when we are defending our homes and families against those who want to kill them. When you have an abortion you are killing an innocent child who did not do anything wrong, and can't defend itself.
