Im just turned 17 and im 5ft 8.5 inchs. is this normal?am i still growing?where do i find out the average height of a 17 year old in the uk (male)?

You're within an inch or so of the average. However as you only recently turned 17 you have a few years to grow that a a bit more.

The average adult male in the UK is 5ft.9.5ins. Also, on average, males grow 2cm between 17 and 18. So you are probably going to be about average. Here's a couple of sites you might be interested in looking at:

It's shortish here in the US, i think average here is like 5'10", so get yourself a pair of NIKE Shox to lift your *** up an inch!
