When we leave Iraq, the Saudis and Egypt will move in and take over. The Saudis just ordered new fighter jets from france to help do that very thing.
Saudi Arabia and the Egyptian Air Force togeather have the largest air combat capability in the Middle East. Egypt has the largest Navy in the Middle east. They will take out Iran very quickly if need be.

what would be so hard about "going back"?

it would be the gulf war all over again... taking back an independent nation from another conquering nation...

Iran is less able to fight us than Iraq was... remember the Iran/Iraq war when we basically gave Saddam weapons that destroyed Iran's army? then we destroyed Saddam's army that we gave him in the 90s?

they wouldn't, because they would know we would come in and crush them, if they had any idea of the past 30 years of military history in the area...

do you think Iran has some super great army or something?

It is possible, not likely however due to the interests of other nations in the area. Even if it happened, it won't be Persian. The Persians have been subjugated by the Arabs for centuries but still exist within Iran as a large ethnic population.

honestly, that could happen and it might not be a bad thing. i mean they've been killing eachother over thier for hundreds of years. i dont think i would be good to have an islamic empire like i dont think it would be good to have a christian empire or cathlic. but if it was to become persia again it might not be to bad, at least for the people over thier, it would probally be better. after the whole civil war **** was over and everything settled. thats how we got china anyways, one guy just decided to take over the whole dawm area and unite the people. i dont know tho im a custodian so i dont really have any say in anything.

Iran could invade Iraq, but every Sunni Arab from the Middle East would high-tail it over there and make the insurgency going on now look pale by comparison to what they would do against the Persians. And Saudi Arabia would make sure that there would be plenty of money to make sure that happens They do NOT want the Persians at their doorstep.
"Fellow Muslim" my foot ! Arab - Persian bad blood runs long and deep.

we cant get out now, were in way to deep. if we pull out, the fights gonna come to our backyard.
Iraqs military is poop. After the first persian gulf general norman schwarzkopf tore the iraqi military to bits..the only reason we left some was so they could counter the iranians.
Too bad we didnt send overwhelming numbers in the first place, maybe then we wouldve made it easier for Iran to invade& take over Iraq... its not happenin anytime soon

Not likely. Saudi Arabia, Syria, Egypt, Turkey ....... all would not like to see Iran invade and take over Iraq ...... would Iran try to influence what would happen? Sure but so would many countries but an all out invasion? No.

"YES" and they will gain so much power by taking the money from Iraq's oil, and they will use that money and position to "TERRORIZE" The whole middle east region and ofcourse last but not least "ISRAEL", "THEY" will be first on the "ANTICHRIST"S HIT LIST" ie: Ahmadinejad and the Ayatolla's who are programming him like the "BRAIN WASHING PUPPET MASTERS THEY ARE" ....that is why it is soooooooooo IMPORTANT that "WE" DO-NOT, "RETREAT" in any way or form from this "WAR ON TERROR" .."WE" have to stay in Iraq untill the Iraqi's are able to defend themselves OR If we cut and run that means that every life that has been lost and maimed , whether it is American or British or Iraqi's ( whom I might add have paid a WHOPPER of a price ) have been in total :VAIN". Sad but "TRUE". and for all you out there who will persist in sticking your heads deeper and deeper in the sand, that will no doubt be tagging me as a "WAR MONGER" well you couldn't be further from the "TRUTH".."FACT".
