did ever wish your parents would have a brother or sister for you?

I am and my son is as well. When I was a kid, I wanted a brother or sister, but wasn't dreadfully unhappy about the way things were. I just thought it would have been nice.
Now that my parents are older, it would be nice to have a sibling to share in the worries and caring for older parents - regardless of support from a spouse or other family members, it just isn't the same. You feel pretty alone sometimes when it comes to your parents as they age. The up side is that you learn to enjoy your own company out of necessity and you are often more comfortable doing things by yourself than your friends who aren't only children. I never get bored (honestly). I am very social and enjoy having people around, but I don't NEED it all the time. I am okay with being alone at times and sometimes need the solitude.

I am an only child and yes, I always used to bug for a little brother or sister. I never got my wish.... :-(
Sometimes though after seeing how other brothers and sisters, sisters and sisters, etc. get along I am kind of thankful now. LOL!

I have never wished I was an only child both of my parents are gone now my brother and three sisters are all we have

I am an only child, but I found out when I was 24 years old that my biological dad has three other children. I never got to meet them because he's a spineless creature who will not take responsiblity for something he did as a teenager.
All I ever wanted was a sibling.

i grew up as an only child...all sisters and brothers were grown and married and had kids. It would have been nice to have a sibling my age to grow up with.

yes. my parents got divorced when i was 3, but i never stopped wanting a brother or sister.

I am and no I did not want another sibling; I was too selfish. Now I wish I had someone else because my son is also and only child.

I do wish i was an only child. I hate my 2 sisters, especially Crystal because she annoys me. Katie on the other hand is more nice but she still hates me. lol.
