Hun, you need to run credit reports NOW. It sounds like an illegal alien is using your personal information. Ru the credit reports and go to the police and ask them what steps you need to take to clear your name.
Good luck!!

It's called "Identity Theft," and you are a victim. You will now find that you are guilty till proven innocent, and that could take years. All this because somewhere, someone did not obey the federal law that states, "Social Security Numbers Shall NOT Be Used For Identification By Anyone Not Authorized To Put Money In Or Take Money Out Of Social Security In Your Name." (I bought a cell phone and they asked for my social security number before they would activate it...I told them I don't have one, and for 45 minutes, they were at a loss of what to do, as most sheeple wouldn't hesitate to give it to anyone who asks for it).

It could be identity theft, but it could also be that someone else shares your name and because your names are the same your numbers have gotten mixed up...it happened to my dad...he had to contact his local social security office and get things straightened out...the other person had bad credit and a mess of other problems...my dad has spotless credit and has never been in any legal trouble....so I suggest that you contact the local social security office before it is identity theft...who wouldn't take the identity of someone who has great credit and the same name when their's sucks

Does sound like identity theft. Apparently the new thing is illegal immigrants from Mexico are getting into the US and making up social security numbers (possibly yours!) and using them to get credit, jobs, cars, etc.

Identity theft. Proabably some criminal got some ID using your SSN and committed a crime and it went into the public records under your name. You need to check this out and send to the court for information.

I have never seen anything written on "social security papers." They give you a computer-printed card with a number and name on it. They don't give out life stories or criminal files.

Go to your SS in your area. There I would tell them what happened. You may need to change your number.
Remember Don't keep your number in your wallet(purse)
keep it in your head.
