Are they still together?
My mom and dad met at a club. My dad asked my mom for her number and my mom gave it to him but didn't think he'd call cause he was too drunk.
They're divorced.

At a church picnic...my Dad had been dating someone else and he told me that when he saw my Mom...there was no turning back.....they were married for 63 yrs when my Mom passed away 2 yrs ago...

My parents met in jail. My mom was just coming home from School. She called ahead and spoke to my uncle, her younger brother, she was telling him to stay out of trouble so she could see him when he got home. When she got home, he wasn't there, he'd been arrested. She and a few of her cousins went to visit him, and while they were there they were approched by 2 C/O's. One of them invited my mom and her cousins to a party. The other just stood there watching and smiling. They went to the party and when they got there, my mom said the C/O that invited them was hitting on her...and her cousins too. She didn't like that, so she struck up a conversation with the other C/O, who is now my dad. They were together for about 7 years. They had my sister a year after they met and I came 6 years after that. They broke up shortly after my birth. But they've both been great parents!

My Dad was stationed in England, during World War II. He was in the Air Force. My Mom was living in Manchester {born and raised}. My Dad was stationed, in Bath, England, and my Mom was a volunteer, for the Royal Air Force, at the same base. They met, dated for a year, and married in Manchester. They shipped my Dad back to the States, and my Mom came over on the Queen Mary. They were happily married, until my Dad passed away in 1978. My Mom passed away in 1992.....

My Mom used to visit her grandmother during summers when she was a teenager, which was right across the road from my dad's sister's house. They were about 15 when they met for the first time, but they didn't start dating until a couple years after that. Dad was drafted in Vietnam, and after he got out of the service they got married in the summer of 1969.
After four children and one step-grandchild, they're still happily married. I really look up to them as role models and hope my relationship with my husband is as happy as theirs has been.

My parents met when my Mom was working at a local restaurant. At first my Mom wouldn't pay attention to him, but then my Dad decided to slide across the counter and sing "Wild Thing". That got her attention and they have been happily married for 24 years.

my mom went to see her sister at the hospital that was having a baby. my dad was in the hospital because his brother was sick.
They met in the waiting room and they started talking to each other. Then, they saw each other once in town, and they found out they lived 5 blocks away from each other. They became friends, and then they became bf and gf and then they married. And now, 24 years later, they are still together.

My mom's boyfriend, in essence, deserted her without a ride after a basketball game in highschool, telling her he was going out drinking with the guys and that she could ask her best friend to take her home. My dad took her home instead... . They will be married 37 years in July.

Well my parent actually lived pretty close tpo each other, one day my dad kept on calling, and they met in a park in Hammond IN....they are still together after 28 yrs in November.

world war 2 Dad was in Scotland they met at a dance dated 2 times wrote love letters dad asked mom to marry she came over here to us 60 years ago this Saturday Dad passed away 4 years ago but they stayed togeather for over 50 years till his death
