You can do some light weight lifting with your arms.
Try to go into (partial) split position and make like you are doing push-ups. Do mild stretches. If your toes stick out, maybe wiggle them around a little as long as it's not hurting to get the blood flow going and give them some exercise. Try some deep breathing and mind to body connections. Get weights and pretend you have an arm bicycle. If it hurts too much don't do it. Another good one is lie on your back and do exercises: bike exercises, scissors with your legs, jumping jacks or snow angel practice--slide arms around while moving your legs. Do these on a soft, carpeted floor Grab something and lift your legs up and down for ab work. You can also play around with it and find exercises to do where you can put the foot to the side.
Just walking around with crutches doing your daily activities can seem difficult to do, so try to take it easy so you can heal faster. Don't push yourself too much.

heres an idea do something that takes your mind off being set back with a broken ankel trust me its far better than later in life if you mess up the healing process. i myself at 46 have still bad problems with my arm i broke at 11 it broke in three places i couldnt be held down i was active as a kid so i tryed to play and ride bikes with the other kids and fell off my bike and even though i had a cast on it broke my arm again after the dr reset so it had to be done again 5 times to the point they couldnt put in pins. i wish now i had layed low during healing process remember like all things in life this too shall pass and you can work out when you are healed take the time while healing enjoy your friends or family with games or laughter to take your mind off your set back. after all laughter is the window to the soul if your soul is content so are you

if you are on crutches - walk around on them and at the same time flex your abs, it also works out your arms.
you can also do some ab workout.
