I certainly don't see the Chinese as the enemy! I do think that Chinese people have great family values (in the west!) and that they look after their old and are very hard working and studious but I also think that because of the hard way of life which is often endured by most working class Chinese that some of society's hardships make life hard for a lot of Chinese people. I particularly remember stories about female babies being abandoned or disposed of because male children are more highly prized because of their greater ability to add to the family's financial income.
I certainly hope that since the west has become more reliant on China to provide pretty much all consumable goods that this is no longer the case and as far as I am concerned that can only be a good thing and I am happy that such a huge country can recognize it's place in the financial and social community.

I think the Chinese people are a beautiful people, but I am probably prejudiced, because I have a beautiful daughter I adopted from China!!!!
To answer your second question...Well, you know, we all need to blame someone else for our problems. I mean Hitler had the Jews right? 99% of our problems are our fault. I suspect that you are referring to China being an economical "enemy". Often they work harder than us, are better educated, and do more work for less money. We are often spoiled (think of the auto worker who makes $80,000.00 a year and STILL wants more money!). Plus alot of us come out of college thinking we should make 50 grand to start. We are fat, spoiled and lazy. Many think they are going to become some rich celebrity, sports figure or win the lottery (people have that mindset more than you realize). We need to reassess our priorities, get our heads out of the clouds and realize just how to RESPECT and APPRECIATE what we already have! As Pogo said: "I have seen the enemy, and the enemy is us!......

I don't mind Chinese people. I think you need to experience their culture before you start calling them our biggest enemy. China is not out to get us. They had our back with the whole N.Korea nuclear fiasco. I'm not saying they aren't a threat, but there are bigger threats out there besides China.
And their food is great!

The Chinese are among the oldest civilizations known to man. For centuries, they refused to allow the Qui-Lo to understand their culture.
The sentence demonstrates your limited grammatical skills. However, truly industrial espionage is among their primary objectives and America is a "Superpower."
You've demonstrated your limited knowledge, because China owns all of America's debt. In other words--they've got us by the short hairs--economically.
You know that, China has the largest military force in the world. Yes, in-spite of our economic dependence on China--they are our "Ideological" enemy. In a geographic sense--they may be our biggest enemy.
Truly, the biggest enemy to Western Civilization is "Radical Islamic Extremism."
You and your friends need to consider that, America faces an enemy that, is not flesh and bones. This enemy does not wear a uniform or conduct warfare in the "Classic" sense. This is the enemy that, attended our major universities during the `70's. This enemy is an idea--that America is the "Great Satan" an idea is bullet-proof and has unlimited martyrs willing to die for this cause. The cause of destroying our way of life.
An enemy that, seduced unsuspecting young (White) women freely giving themselves in foreign exchange. Many had children that are lost in Middle Eastern countries never to return.
The greatest enemy to America is the uninformed, X-Box/ Wii/ PS3 generation and the limited thinking people of privilege.

The Chinese people are hard working and wiling to do what it takes to get the job done. If that means braking some "rules" then so be it. This of course is a threat to some westerners who value " human rights". Eventually I hope we realise that the "end goal" is more imporant then the individual.
