Is there a way i could download something free to fix it?

Click on 'TOOLS' and then click on 'INTERNET OPTIONS' and a screen will pop up with a button on it that says 'DELETE COOKIES'. Click on that button and clear out all the cookies from visiting websites and see if that helps. I had the same trouble and a friend turned me on to this neat trick and it worked for me so maybe it'll work for you

You didn't say how it has been acting funny. Is it slow? Does it make loud noises? Have programs suddenly appeared on the computer and you have no clue how they go there? Need more details.
