What is freedom? A very good question. Freedom is being able to do what you want, when you want, how you want, for whatever reason you want it. Freedom is the sense of not being tied down by anything. True freedom does not exist. You and I live in a country that promises freedom and equality to all peoples. However, this is technically false. We are bound by laws, federal laws, state laws, county laws. These laws prevent us from obtaining true freedom. Personally, I find it annoying when people say, "You can't make me, it's a free country." This statement irritates me because of the fact that I know that this country isn't truly free, we are merely freer than most countries are. However, true freedom is chaos. True freedom is something to fear, because of the fact that true freedom lacks order. If we had true freedom, it would be like living back in the Dark Ages. This is because everyone would be doing what they wanted, and everyone will die from lack of order in their lives.

I think freedom goes beyond what us as humans can acheive on own facts and knowledge. we are born to love - freedom, enjoy - freedom. when you figure out there is a God who created us who is above all that we think or do, that is freedom. we also have a choice to choose life (purpose and plan) and eternity, and if you follow God's amazing purpose, that is freedom

The ability to say no when ever you feel like it - not being trapped by fear - not being bound by fear based man made religion laws.

The abiliy to speak your mind with out fear of retribution.

The ability to burn your flag.

Freedom does not mean you have the right to remove or inhibit someones elses freedoms.

No one on earth is free. But to me, freedom would mean not feeling suffocated...like I do now. Having nobody to answer to and being dependent on nobody.

Freedom is choice. It is autonomy. And it is also accepting the outcomes or consequences of those choices.
