I am doing a power point presentation for school and I want to play a song during the power point.
Is there a way to play a song through a whole power point presentation without it restarting over and over again?

But you don't know how to add them?

yes, you only put it on the first slide.

Go to insert: music and sound
Go to from file
Then browse through and find the file
Next it will ask if you want it to start automatically or when clicked (i would probably pick automatically)
Then side click on the speaker that shows up go to custom animation.
Then in the side bar side click on the music file and go to "effects options"
It should pop up a screen - under the effects tab there is an option for stop playing and you want to click on the one that says "After:" and select the number of slides you want it to play through (usually the number in the presentation)

Hopefully this helps!

You start the song as part of a transition between two slides, rather than as part of just one slide. When you add it to a transition you have a check box that you can set to play the music through all the slides until you have a transition or slide that starts a new song.

When you copy of and paste the song to the file will only place a link on the slide. When you move the PPT to another location or another computer it might not work. So first make sure that you enbed the file and them go to the Insert tab and clip on the audio link and set it up to play the way that you want it to.
