I don't understand how to do this problem. How do I factor this?
x^2+(3+6)x+3*6
P.S- i dont know if i typed these math symbols right so here's a key:
x^2 means: x squared
3*6 means: 3 multiplied by 6

look, at the problem. it's practically already done for you.

you may recall the FOIL method of multiplication for multiplying binomials. essentially you're going the other way here. you see that a 3 and a 6 are added in front of the x and a 3 is multiplied by a 6 after that. so, the two numbers you'll be using are a 3 and a 6.
so it is (x+3)(x+6).
Multiplying this out gives you x^2 + ((3+6)x) + 3*6 (the same thing as the question)

Based on what you have typed, the equation should read:

x^2+9x+18

This factors to (x+6)(x+3) because 6 times 3 is 18 and 6 plus 3 is 9.

x^2+(3+6)x+3*6 (does this = 0?)
first multiply and add everything out:
x^2 +9x +18=0
then factor
(x+6)(x+3)=0
so x = -6 or -3

3x^6 + 24 3(x^6 + 8) 3(x^2)^3+(2)^3 First you are able to desire to element out the right uncomplicated element it incredibly is 3. next, placed 3 outdoors the parenthesis with (x^6 + 8) interior them. After this, element x^6 + 8 even further into (x^2)^3 + (2)^3. once you have a skill to a distinctive skill you multiply the powers. So (x^2)^3 = x^6 and a pair of^3 is 2x2x2 which equivalent 8. advantages
