Do you mean the Lambda DNA Protocol from NCBE Practical Protocols? http://www.ncbe.reading.ac.uk/NCBE/PROTOCOLS/lambda.html

From a quick scan of the student's guide, that's pretty much how it goes in the lab. The gel box and power supply look a bit different. Or do you want more details, like /how/ is the gel cast, what is the buffer, what percentage agarose gel, etc?

I'm sorry - what are you asking?

I know quite a lot about DNA gel electrophoresis, but what's "Lambda DNA Protocol" (I know what phage lambda is)?

The lighter the dna the farther it will travel to the botton due to the electrical pull. The heavier molecules stay at the top of the gell.
