first sketch ur idea on paper.
PLAN IT OUT!
think hard about wat u want to be in ur creation.
think of every nook and cranny.
then just start building....
use ur imagination....
just make an exact replica of wat u see in ur mnd.
pretend ur making a modle house on the computer.
take it one step at a time.

and good luck!

some tips:
try to get to know ur peices first. lay em out to know wat u hav to work with b4 u start forming any ideas...

You should get Lego Digital Designer, bro. (LDD). Its a 3D building program with nearly all the lego pieces in existence. The download is free and works on most computers. You can add or delete pieces realy easy. It helps me a lot. Just type in "lego digital designer free download".
As for the tips, draw and re-draw the design for your base until you get it just right. Good luck! :)

Don't give up. Keep trying. You will need a lot of Lego pieces to hold up 30 Lego people and a garage with vehicles!

Yes!! Taj Mahal is the most beautiful sculpture ever built in the world I feel. It is elegant in design, brings peace to soul with it's white color surrounded by lush greenery, the fact behind it's construction i.e. a husband's love 4 his wife marks it above all.. It is more like a tear of love on the cheeks of time.

I recommend you visit the site I've linked to below. I hope you'll find it to be an excellent resource for the type of building you hope to create.
