Not for more than one hour if it is sitting out.

No...germs can gather in saved ANYTHING that touched a human's mouth, this goes for bottles, food, ANYTHING. You can let the formula sit for about an hour, maybe he/she'll finish it within the hour, but ANYTHING over an hour you need to throw away. Same goes for when he/she starts solids...do not feed the baby out of the jar unless you plan on him/her eating the entire thing.

someone answered already but I will just repeat it..No there is Bacteria that grows after you have drank from that bottle. If the child does not drink from it I believe taht you can save it for about 4 hours with out putting in in the fridge.

"No" I cannot save your babies formula ,but you can as
long as they aren't sick ,just prompty refridgerate it..
It happens often in babies that can walk ,they lose or hide bottles and may re-discover pick them back up.But if it's
a young infant .Maybe try l filling them less,if your so worried about it...Then again if we may ,examine the bottle ,see the
nipple is pretty air tight ,nothing can pretty much get in them little holes ,they are made for sucking rather ,so I wouldn't worry about milk being contaminated by babies germs but
rather the outside of the nipple ,which gets contaminated
layed down on a blanket etc, or pretty much easily .If your
going by your pediatrician schedule ,you should expect which
age eats typically how much.Newbies are about 2 ounces
a couple more weeks maybe three, then a few more maybe 4
then five ,but after the weens older you should be able to tell.
So clean the nipple ,people do this often anyways ,if they touch it etc or it falls baby drops it.You don't want to go wasting good milk ,formula, fill the bottle less.Besides if it's
a boy the chances are he will be drinking out of "everyones "containers soon enough ,germs and all...
"grrrr" Okay ....p.s\ This is why "No" answers are given .
If you have to ask ,they are sure you don't know,But what they dont know is that many, many of many hypothesis are "old"
and simply based on "The government or whomever or
so such ,believing everyone else is to dumb or ignorant
to figure whatever for themselves or know ,sooo many
things, and no your question isnt stupid ,but they were is taught "no" to tell you "no" because thats just the way it is ,based on that theory that "people are stupid and that
someone has to tell them everything, like governments or
higher society ,doctors etc.But you what ..some people are..
and will use ignorance as an excuse in many things....
Say ,like those people who pumped all them pills in that
kid and she died..."See" but then now we have "doctors told them to do it .."See" ...so..."Hey it's you know what "It's your kid" You know what ,unless you have something another one wants ,But thats probably rare, then I would not worry so much .But My gosh imagine that ,some ding dongs knocking out your door seizing your kid on the grounds of such a question and calling you unfit....Sorry my imagination runs wild. But then again now see ,but your not that pompous couple of idiots who poisoned their own daughter .My son is
twenty something now."Hmm" Exactly....

well..supposed not to but i always save it the most to 2hours sometimes a bit longer. so far no diarhea or anything. the room temperature here is around 74 F. If warmer I guess it'll get spoiled faster. I do this since he was born cause I don't want to waste the milk(now 5m). A bit of bacteria is ok.. his body will eventually become stronger... that's what i believe. If i have doubt, I'll taste the milk first whether it's sour. well don't follow my way.

No, there's bacteria and saliva that have entered the bottle while the baby was drinking. So any leftover should be tossed.

Well yes you can, if you refrigerate it, it will last for up to a day, and if you do not refrigerate it then you can only save it for 2 hours

I wouldn't save it the dangers of it getting contaminate are greater that the cost of throwing it away.

I would probably toss it just for safe measures. I know it is wasting formula but its better to be safe than sorry.
