Depends on what your looking to do when you go. If you are looking to party and stay out all night, I would say go to Oahu. If you are looking for a more traditional time with less people and more beauty, I would say Maui. It is beautiful no matter where you go, but there are alot of tall buildings and alot of night clubs and malls on Oahu. Maui is a little less crowed and still has that tropical feel to it not a city feel to it. Have fun!!
