Recently while bicycling through the countryside I stopped to pet a local cow. All was well until I noticed a scowl developing on the animal's face. What I wondered could be wrong? Slowly it dawned on me that the beast was looking at my new leather loafers. Loafers I thought? Loafers...leather...cow....perhaps the animal presumed my footwear was a former relative? I slowly backed away and hopped on my bicycle and pedalled away. I heard a crash and saw the enraged creature burst through the fence and give chase! I accelerated and prayed. Pedal, clomp, pedal, clomp,pedal..the chase went on. I gained some ground stopped suddenly and flung my shoes at Bossie! My last view was the cow carrying my shoes out to pasture in her cud chewing mouth. I shakily made my way home and consumed a milkshake and some ice cream to calm down. Holy Cow! Was this a close call or what?????

it could have been worse - you might have been wearing your alligator shoes in the Everglades.

I wonder what the cow ate when she got home? Chicken nuggets? Chicken fingers? Grilled chicken sandwich? Being as you were a chicken for running and not owning up to your responsibilities.

yes it was, and you were smart to just throw the shoes down. . . the cow would have eaten you. Cows are very angry creatures that have killer instincts, they often kill wild animals and are caught up with bookies. They are bad news, If one of them offers you a drink, smoke etc dont take it. . . They are dangerous

Oh and dont ever attempt to pet them, they will bite . . . ;)

Perhaps the cow was a reincarnation of someone that you'd really pissed off in a prior life.

Very funny. You realize, of course, that when there are no people around, they all stand around on hind legs and have long discourse.
