IT'S FROM 2001, BUT LOOKING AT IT, IT HAS 2 MARKS ON THE EDGE OF THE COIN AND THE MARKS ARE COPPER COLOR, MAYBE SOMEBODY JUST PLATE THE COIN, WHAT DO YOU THINK?

You got it in your comments. It is a plated penny. Probably no extra value but it is a nice novelty piece.
Mine is dated 1953.

First of all it could not have been struck on a nickel planchet for it would fit into the cent collar. The 1943 cents were struck on a zinc coated steel planchet and the mintage was very high. A lot were kept by people for they were different and still show up in change. That is due to if they are in poor condition they are still worth one cent. Only high and I mean real high grade uncirculated ones have any real value. Now if it is the size of a dime then a cent was struck on a dime planchet, it is small enough to fit into the collar. If it is dated any thing other than 1943 someone fooled with it outside the mint and it is a damaged coin with no value except one cent. Don't give up though for there are some rare cents out there. The 1970-S small date, 1983 double die reverse, 1984 doubled ear, 1992-D close AM ( the A & M in America nearly touch each other) and the 1995 double die obverse . This is just a few.

Step one: Find a penny. Step two: Find a silver pen. Step three: Colour penny with silver pen. Step four: sell for 1 million dollars.
There are actually steel pennies. They're worth more than a cent, but it depends on their condition. Anything from 5 cents to hundreds of dollars. Take it to a coin dealer and get it apparised.

In 1943 they made pennies out of Steel and they are kind of silvery looking, if its in good shape its worth about 25 cents.

If it is from 1943, then you have found a wartime steel cent. If its not from 1943 , then it may have been struck on a nickel or dime blank .

If I knew what a penny-press was, I'd do it. I like living life on the wild side.

it was made back during some kind of war, and they wanted to use all the copper for war equipment, so they used silver.
