surely scientific laws ie:gravity, leverage and physics prove it is easier to put something down than raise it so why complain?

one million. The seats are wobbly because of the fact they are no longer tightly fixed to the bathroom (porcelain) fixtures. Tighten the bolts to the nuts sufficiently till the seats are solidly set. yet examine the reason under first earlier you tighten the bolts. 2. The lids save dropping down because of the fact the seats are set to far back (in direction of the tanks). The slots on the fixture for the bolts to flow by way of have sufficient space for the mandatory adjustment. The lid/seat assemblies would desire to be set far sufficient forward so as that when the lids are interior the up place, they tilt extremely back against the tanks at and perspective to the vertical. they won't be able to drop onto the seats in that place by ability of themselves.

You need to clarify this question. Are you telling the females that they should stop complaining because it is easier for them to put the seat down than it is for the males to raise it? If so, I agree. The seat should always be up, stops me peeing on it so it's also more hygienic!

since females don't stand when using the toilet and males sometimes sit to use it, it makes logical sense that the seat should be down at least when there's a female in the house long enough to need it. you'll understand if you ever fall in because somebody left it up when you weren't expecting it. i, however, always check before i sit.

If it's easy to put down, must be easy for you to do it, too! If you go in the middle of the night, or are in a real hurrry (busting), sometimes we don't notice that it's up, and it's gross to sit on the toilet with no seat!!!!!!

If some lady is giving you a hard time about this, I suggest peeing in the sink. No seats to lift or let down and no flusing required.

I've never thought it's a big deal because of the effort of putting it down. But I think it looks better if the lid is down.

In my home there is no problem. Two loos are better than one. One seats up & one seats down.

I only complain when my son doesn't lift the seat and pee sprays all over it.
