I get all these emails now (usually from some 'rich African princess') that ask all this personal information so I can 'claim millions of U.S. dollars' and are so obviously connected with identity theft. I'm sick and tired of them coming, and I haven't given out my email address anywhere online except to Yahoo (obviously). How can I stop them? I've reported them as Spam, but then they only get sent to my Bulk folder.
HELP ME!!!!!!

I get a lot of those too. Heaps from UK and Africa telling me I've won the lotto and stuff like that. They want your bank acc. details. idk what to do about it except ignore and report as spam...

You've obviously answered some site that offers free programs or free icons or smilies or something like that (they sell your email out; how do you think they make money?).

My suggestion is that you foward all of those phising emails to:spam@uce.gov. and do NOT reply to those phishing expeditions, not even to tell them to go to hell because then they will know that they have a working email and send you MORE phishing emails. Right now, ignore them as best as you can. Good luck and best wishes.

Just keep sending them to spam bulk folder and do not open them. After several months they will assume it is an email address that is no longer used and they should stop.

Send them to spam and set your bulk folder settings or options to delete when email arrives
