having as many families as they can? Giuliani has been married three times, Gingrich has been married three times, McCain has been married twice and so was Reagan. Rush Limbaugh, of course has been married and divorced three times and he is a staunch defender of family values. Ann Coulter has never been married. Well, that is not surprising.

John Kerry has been marrie twice not thrice. His wife was diagnosed with clinical depression and asked for a divorce in 1982. Somewhat different than Newt Gingrich being orally gratified in the parking lot of Congress by groupies, and asking for a divorce while his first wife was battling cancer. You have to be a real die hard conservative to equate the two. Like me, Kerry actually served in Vietnam. Conservatives like Hannity and Limbaugh would poop a brick if they actually had to serve. Cowardice does pay the bills.

And Guiliani had his girlfriend at the Governor's Mansion at the same time his wife was still living there before they separated. And the sweetheart Gingrich asked his wife for a divorce while she was laying in a hospital bed. Princes, aren't they?

The problem is not democratic or republican. THe problem is human nature. Always wanting more, different, new. Of course, the problem could also be that the women won't stay with a conservative man. We are kind of boring, especially when we stick to our guns and won't budge on certain issues. And sometimes the women just don't want to stick with their man when he is climbing the ladder of sucess.
I'm really surprised you didn't blame the Bush administration for the glut of bad marriages in the world today.

"Serial Marriage" is the closest American males can get to polygamy. They marry a young beautiful woman, have a few kids, then drop her for a younger, more beautiful woman. Rinse and repeat as long as your fame, power, status and wealth will attract hot young women.

This isn't a uniquely Republican practice. It is a product of evolution. Men are attracted to youth and beauty (both signs of high fertility). Women are attracted to the qualities listed above (power, status, etc.) as these are indicators of ability to provide for offspring.

Right, so Giuliani's personal life is an embarrassment. And it's relatively easy to name Democrats who are at least as unfaithful. OK, so basically, your argument is that politicians are lousy role models. Yeah, we get that. It's not news.

I would marry Ann Coulter if I could just so I comfort her anytime she was sad. I would say, "Ann, why such a long face?"

Instead of being unfaithful we get divorces. Unlike Clinton.

Wrong, Republicans are for multiple wives. Hey, if a man can marry another man, then their are extra women. I'll take two please.
