I support Bangladesh because I come from Bangladesh and the Bangladesh team is doing really good in the Super 8s.

Well, I'm an England fan through and through (since I was born and raised here) but realistically I think New Zealand's got the best chance of winning the tournament.
By the way, no offence but I wouldn't class 0 wins out of 3 as "really good"!

I think that Sri Lanka will win the ICC Cricket World Cup this year because of their amazing fielding and bowling with Vaas and Murali. However, I think that the favorites are Australia. I think that South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka will get into the Semi Finals and that Sri Lanka will play South Africa and that Australia will play New Zealand. Sri Lanka and Australia will win the two matches and proceed to the finals.
I support Sri Lanka but I am not sure if they will win because of Australia being the favourites and for being a good team.
I don't think that Bangladesh stands a good chance to win the cup because they are a relatively new team but the patriosity is very heartening. :)

Hello Soheni, I am also from Bangladesh and I know our team’s weaknesses but even then I will support Bangladeshi team. I know that we are fated to be coming home from this Super-8 round, and this much progress for Bangladesh itself is satisfying achievement.
Now coming to supporting teams in Quarter, Semi and Finals, we would root for Sri Lanka being our own 'tribe' and then during the Final if SL is out then I personally would root for Australia!
Sorry for the NZ and SA Teams, luck does not seem to be playing along with them in this year.

well soheni u cant just hope the country u are coming from to win in the world cup.the team which performs the best and handles the pressure best will win.though everyone likes his or her country to win.i am from india and i know india can never win the world cup with such kind of attitude.i think the winners will be either aussies or the south africans.the kiwis also have a good chance with them

I have no particular interest towards any team in the world cup. I appreciate good cricket and whichever team plays better cricket, I appreciate the same.
