Do you have any relatives that own businesses? Last weekend, I hired my nephew to help me move some furniture, and paid him $35.00.

You can put ads in the shopping store by the checkout counters advertising things like housecleaning, cutting lawns, babysitting, even helping elderly people with their shopping. In some towns, you can deliver newspapers. When I was twelve, I made money by buying bags of candy at the store, and selling the pieces in school for .10 cents each.

If you are smart, you can teach or tutor other kids in school. Sometimes, adults will even pay you to show them how to use a computer. You can also ask at school and see if your counselor has any suggestions.

Good luck.
